When Ixo Models decided to create scale models, the goal was to bring together the most advanced manufacturing techniques and the best experts in resin/die-cast model development under one umbrella. From the conception of a model to the launch of the final product, there is a long process, which is undoubtedly worth it when collectors around the world choose to add their authentic models to their collections. The metal bodies are produced using a die-cast injection machine, where molten zamak (zinc alloy) is introduced into the mold, then cut and polished in a centrifugal drum with ceramic stones. A similar process is used to inject the plastic parts. Most of these parts, including the plastic ones, are then hand-painted to give the models the most sophisticated finish. The most advanced techniques are used for the final decoration of the models, such as mask spraying, pad printing, which allows printing directly onto the body, or the application of silkscreened waterslide decals from the best European suppliers. The results are truly stunning!
