Italeri has announced a new reference of his 1/24 scale model kit of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale for 2026, which will allow the modeler to reproduce the 8V version of the Jolly Club team sponsored by Totip. We are eager to learn more details, such as the rally and season chosen for the decal sheet. What seems certain is that, as with the 16V version, it will retain the unique feature of having the driver's door separate from the body, allowing the builder to choose during assembly whether to leave it open to reveal part of the interior once the model is built.

One of the facts that corroborates the success of the Lancia Delta in the World Rally Championship is that, after the change to Group A regulations, Lancia won the manufacturers' title for the first six years of the regulations. Thanks to its multiple evolutions, and almost always with the legendary Lancia Martini Racing colours of the official team, the Lancia Delta racked up 46 victories in the World Rally Championship, thanks to motorsport legends such as Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, and Markku Alén.
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V was the second evolution of the competition version, introducing a series of improvements over the Delta HF 4WD used until then. Thanks to the considerable increase in track width and wheel arches, the Delta could be fitted with more effective suspensions, larger and wider wheels, as well as larger brakes. The Delta HF Integrale 8V was also the first to be fitted with the Abarth six-speed gearbox, as well as advanced Michelin tires, replacing Pirelli as the team's tire supplier. The evolution also included the addition of a larger Garrett turbocharger, accompanied by a more efficient intercooler, which significantly increased power.
