In the 1970s, before the invention of pneumatic jacks and modern wheeled carts, moving an F1 car with its enormous tires was a nearly impossible task. That's why it became common to mount much narrower wheels, sometimes even completely metal, on the cars to move them around the paddock or pit lane. These types of wheels were also used to configure the setup and perform precise alignment, both in toe-in and camber. Stone Models has 3D-printed the dummy wheel sets used on Ferraris in the late 1970s, such as the Ferrari 312T2, to scale. They are ideal for creating a diorama recreating the preparation of the car in the pit lane.
