The drivers of this vehicle, which allowed several repairs to be made to the Porsches of Vic Preston Jr. (who achieved second place) and Björn Waldegård (fourth at the finish line), were driven by the pair formed by Roland Kussmaul and Jürgen Barth, although as a assistance vehicle it did not appear on the entry list.
