Decal sheet that allows you to reproduce the Group C Porsche 962C that, with race number 11, participated in the first round of the 1987 World Sports Car Championship, held at the Jarama circuit. This event was also known as the 1987 Fortuna Grand Prix. Driven by Emilio de Villota and Paco Romero, the Porsche driven by Kremer managed to finish the race in tenth place. The decal, printed by Cartograf, was developed for use on the Tamiya model kit.

Additional details for the Porsche 962C marking / livery:

After many years, Jarama was once again the stage for a major international Sports Prototype event in 1987. Eager to give the circuit a new lease of life, RACE requested a date from FISA for a World Endurance Championship event in November 1985. FISA responded in January 1986, granting permission to organize a race on June 15 of that year, but due to the uncertainty of various ongoing construction projects not being completed, it was decided to postpone it until 1987. Jarama was the first event on the calendar, followed a week later by the 1000 km of Jerez, allowing the teams to fully optimize their trip to Spain. Among the participating teams were numerous Porsche 962Cs, including the car of the indefatigable Emilio de Villota, who on this occasion was teamed with Francisco Romero. Thanks to Marlboro's support, the Spanish racing duo was able to use a Porsche from the Kremer team not only in Madrid but also for the Jerez race. The fact that De Villota was professionally linked to Porsche at the time also played a significant role in the agreement.

The first practice sessions took place on Wednesday so that the teams could fine-tune their new cars for the 1987 season, as well as get to know and adapt to a circuit that was new to many of them. Emilio de Villota got off to a very bad start when his engine broke down just as he began training, leaving him barely able to run. In the second session of practice, especially for the Porsches, the "racing" engine was tested with smaller turbos to improve fuel consumption, and very meticulous fuel consumption and tire wear tests were carried out.

Once in the race, before the half-hour mark was up, Villota had to come in to change tires. The Yokohama tires used on their Porsche weren't getting up to temperature, and their grip left much to be desired, but that was the way it was, and there was no option to fit other tires. The stop meant a significant delay, and the team mentally prepared for the struggle, albeit with the clear objective of getting the car to the finish. Toward the end of the race, several cars began to experience fuel consumption issues, as regulations limited the fuel available for the race. But one of the Porsches without fuel consumption issues was precisely the one driven by Villota and Romero, which had excess fuel due to the multiple stops to change tires. So, although the Yokohama tires didn't allow them to get too excited, in those final moments they were able to make up several positions to finish in tenth place.
