Arena Modelli is launching a new series that allows the reproduction of some of the legendary versions of the Lancia Delta Group A, both in its 16V version and in its latest evolution, the Super Delta HF Integrale. The particularity of this series is that the kit is prepared as an "all open" model, so that the front bonnet can be opened, revealing all the mechanics, the rear hatch, behind which the fuel tank was mounted, and the front doors on both sides, leaving a large part of the interior visible. This reference allows the Grifone team version to be assembled, with its recognisable black and gold colours of its sponsor, Esso, with which Piero Longhi and Maurizio Imerito won the 1992 Rally della Lana.

One of the facts that corroborates the success of the Lancia Delta in the World Rally Championship is that, following the change to Group A regulations, Lancia won the manufacturers' title for the first six years of the regulations. Thanks to its multiple evolutions, and almost always in the legendary Lancia Martini Racing colors of the official team, the Lancia Delta racked up 46 victories in the World Rally Championship, thanks to motorsport legends such as Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, and Markku Alén. The Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V was the third evolution of the competition version, introducing numerous improvements over the previous version, the 8V Integrale, and focusing mainly on increasing power. The FIA had set a power limit of 300 hp, which forced Abarth engineers to also seek an increase in mid-range torque. The new four-valve-per-cylinder engine increased total power from 280 hp to 295 hp, opting for a slightly smaller Garrett turbocharger to reduce lag and improve throttle response. Electronic fuel injection was also introduced. Engine compartment space was further reduced with the addition of an even larger intercooler, necessitating more air intakes. The most distinctive feature of the 16V was the appearance of a "hump" on the hood, necessary to make room for the new, more robust 16-valve cylinder head. Other mechanical improvements included larger-diameter brakes and a more reliable and efficient electronic management system.
Twelve victories in 24 World Championship rallies, plus two Constructors' titles and one Drivers' title, were undoubtedly the best rewards for a technical team that worked hard for several years on the development of the Lancia Delta.
The final specification of the Delta was the HF Integrale 16V "Evo," more commonly known as the "Deltona." This version was developed in the autumn of 1991 and debuted at the 1992 Monte Carlo, a season in which it won its sixth manufacturer's title (tenth overall for Lancia) and eight World Championship rounds. The "Deltona" was distinguished from the other Delta evolutions by its even wider and squarer wheel arches, gaining seven centimeters in width, which allowed for the fitment of 17-inch wheels and improved brake cooling. Work was also done to reduce body roll, and somewhat to the aerodynamics, with a more pronounced rear spoiler, which also served to differentiate it from previous evolutions. Finally, efforts were focused on unleashing even more power from its 16-valve engine, improving the power curve for better response at low revs.
