A true classic, the Porsche 911 is one of the most legendary models in the history of the automobile. And some of its versions, such as the RS 2.7, are coveted cars for their special characteristics. Now you can build your own replica of this little piece of automotive history in 1/8 scale, with a kit where every element, every color tone and every line is reproduced with absolute precision. The kit contains
713 pieces, of which
83 are metal, all of them
pre-painted and ready to be assembled. Once the assembly of the model is complete,
all the doors and hoods open, revealing its complete interior and its immortal 6-cylinder boxer engine located at the rear. And if all this were not enough, it has functions to control the
sound of the engine and the
activation of the front and rear lights. An exceptional reproduction with extreme attention to detail.

The 911 Carrera RS is one of the most revered cars in the Porsche lineage and is regarded as one of the best sports cars of the 1970s. Unveiled at the 1972 Paris Auto Show, it was a special factory-built model. to comply with the homologation rules of the FIA Group 4 category. The RS ("Rennsport") was nearly unbeatable at Le Mans, Daytona and the Targa Florio, often beating true racing prototypes in outright classifications. The 911 RS is conclusive proof that one of Porsche's greatest skills was building a car that was immensely competitive on the track and yet just as valid as a road car.
Porsche intended to produce only the 500 examples of the Carrera RS needed to homologate the RS for racing. These "first series" vehicles are highly coveted as they feature a thinner sheet metal from the factory and focused on being lightweight and offering a "purer" driving experience. However, customer appetite for the Carrera RS version eventually led Porsche to build an extra 2 series of Carrera RS, producing a further 1,080 units. These later versions (often referred to as Series 2 or Series 3) had thicker sheet metal and were generally heavier than their early series brethren.
