SpotModel's PrintLab products are manufactured using digital technology (3D printers, digital printing equipment, etc.), so they may have less detail/quality/definition than commercial modeling products. Please take this into account before purchasing this product, as returns are not accepted. The products are delivered without manuals or user guides and are aimed exclusively at experienced modelers, as they may require advanced skills for their use. All designs are the property of their creators, so SpotModel is not responsible for their contents, or possible errors, plagiarism, deficiencies, inaccuracies, etc. that may exist.
A few years ago, Renault had the fantastic idea of launching what was the modern interpretation of its famous Alpine, replicating many of the features that made this model famous, more focused on the behavior and driver's enjoyment than on raw power. And not only that, but it is also a regular participant in national and even world rallies. Now, this new version is also available as a
1/24 scale kit, fully printed using 3D technology. And not only the exterior shapes of the body have been faithfully reproduced, but it also has the entire
detailed interior and the
rims and tires to make the
street version of the new Alpine A110.
Additional details for the
Alpine A110 car scale model kit, designed by
3DVM:
The new Alpine A110 could be affectionately called the French Porsche Cayman, at least for its mechanical layout and commercial approach. The rebirth of this iconic model by Alpine, also reborn to house Renault's sportier models, had its official presentation in 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its resemblance to the original A110 from the 1960s and 1970s is not only in name, but also in style.
The first 1.955 Alpine units could be purchased in advance through an App, where buyers could customize their car to their liking and make a deposit for their reservation... even before knowing the final sale price! These units are called "Premiere Edition", and among some of the equipment options that could be incorporated were carbon fibre Sabelt seats, a sports exhaust, air conditioning and a high-end sound system.
The engine initially used in the Alpine is a modern 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder, capable of generating 250 hp of power, with a torque of 320 Nm from just 2.000 rpm. To transmit power to the ground, the Alpine relies on a dual-clutch automatic gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. This same engine saw its power increase to 292 hp from 2020, in addition to Alpine launching several special limited editions to increase the exclusivity of the Alpine.
