Model kit that allows you to reproduce in great detail the "4-door" version of the legendary Ford Model A. The construction of the kit follows the same stages as the assembly of the real model, starting with the joining of the different parts that make up the
chassis by means of side members, then incorporating the engine, and finally mounting the cabin for the occupants on the chassis. Classic vehicle enthusiasts are in luck.
Additional details for the
Ford Model A Standard Phaeton car scale model kit:
In the 1920s, American businessman and automobile designer Henry Ford began developing a new car model to replace the famous Ford Model T, which had been in production for 18 years. According to legend, the first drawing of the future car was made by Henry Ford's son, Edsel. At least it was he who made the sketches of the different design options for the car's radiator and dashboard. The first unit of the new automobile, called the Ford Model A, was produced on October 20, 1927, and mass production began in December of the same year. During the production period, Ford introduced changes in the design of the car, the main of which were associated with the installation of a body with increased space and the improvement of its appearance and quality. Cars produced after 1930 had a modified outer radiator, a new shape of the front wheel fins and smaller wheels. Buyers were offered a large number of different options, among which it was possible to choose different body types: coupe, convertible, sedan, phaeton, roadster, pickup and others. Production of the Ford Model A ceased in 1931, with a total of 4,849,340 units of the Ford Model A having been manufactured among all variants.
