The Yamaha TZR250 was in production between 1986 and 1995, and was advertised as the road version of the racing Yamaha TZ250. During the time it was on the market, various engine variants were assembled, such as those with two parallel cylinders, those with reverse cylinders and, finally, a two-cylinder 90° V engine. The Yamaha TZR250 was the natural replacement for the Yamaha RD 250/Yamaha RD350LC of the 1980s. Among its technical features the engine featured Yamaha's 'YPVS' power valve system, which modifies the opening of the exhaust port depending on of the engine revolutions, beginning to open at approximately 6,000 rpm. In its standard variant the TZR250 had a power of 45 HP, due to a rather restrictive configuration of the ignition system and exhaust.

The Japanese company
Hasegawa has been one of the benchmarks for civilian vehicles for years, with fantastic models of cars and motorcycles. Although their most classic products continue to delight the most demanding modellers, with reissues that allow us to continue enjoying them, the new molds from this manufacturer have been quite a surprise (a pleasant one) due to their considerable jump in quality both in details as in fittings. If you try, surely you will repeat!
