In 1951 the couple formed by Jack McAfee and Ford Robinson repeated their participation in the Carrera Panamericana. They also repeated the vehicle, with the Cadillac improved in several aspects and also with a new image, adopting the colours of the Gulf sponsor. What they could not repeat was the part of finishing the race, retiring due to a road exit.
