The increasing speed reached by competition vehicles, as well as the greater awareness about safety, led in the 60s to the incorporation of the first versions of safety harnesses, derived mostly from aviation. The so-called US type had a curious
attachment system for the four pieces that made up the harness. being used in such emblematic models as the
Ford GT40. This 1/24 scale harness reference, which
allows two complete sets to be made, reproduces, thanks to its photo-etched buckles, the classic closure system used in those first belts. The fabric included is
