In 1967 Ford used the MK IV version of its GT40 for the assault on Le Mans, but many of the still competitive GT40 MK IIBs were also waiting for their opportunity to shine in the race. This
high-quality resin kit, with
photo-etched plates and white metal parts so that you can assemble the chosen version of the model in great detail, allows you to choose between four
different versions of the Ford GT40 MKIIB used by various teams in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1967. The version with the number #5 of Frank Gardner and Roger McCluskey failed to finish the race, nor did the number #6 of Jo Schlesser and Guy Ligier or the number #57 of Ronnie Bucknum and Paul Hawkins. In addition, the parts and decals necessary to make the version with the number #1 that achieved victory in the 12 Hours of Reims are also included, with the couple Jo Schlesser and Guy Ligier at the wheel.
