At first, there were many who criticized the appearance of the "flat nose" versions of the Porsche 911, so called for hiding the "bulging" optical characteristics of the 911, but with the passage of time, and thanks to the majority of competition version from the 935 onwards adopted a similar design, the flat noses were considered increasingly attractive. Fujimi has just reissued this kit, which will allow us to assemble the Turbo Flat Nose version with a
complete and detailed interior and lower area of the car, although unlike the Enthusiast series kits,
it does not include the parts to make the complete engine or the detailed of the opening under the front hood, therefore having a smaller number of parts.

The first-generation Porsche 911 Turbo, internal code 930, was a dream car for many from the moment it first saw the light of day in 1975, and quickly became a global benchmark for performance. Its huge, flared rear wings and whale-tail rear spoiler certainly helped give it an imposing, instantly recognisable image.
In 1982, some of Porsche’s sponsors asked the German carmaker’s Exclusiv Manufaktur programme (sometimes called “Special Wishes”) to create a road-going model that resembled the world-record-breaking Type 935 race car. The resulting body closely resembled the streamlined 935, featuring retractable headlights and striking air vents above the steel front wings. New brake cooling vents with side slats and an electric fan to aid oil cooling were also fitted. And as the icing on the cake, wider wheels and tires were fitted on both axles.
The proposal was a success, and within months Porsche was overwhelmed by requests from customers who wanted a 911 inspired by the 935. Over the course of 1988, Porsche completed just 148 examples for the North American market.

The Japanese company
Fujimi has been one of the benchmarks for civilian vehicles for years, with fantastic models of cars and motorcycles. Their most classic products continue to delight the most demanding modellers, with reissues that allow us to continue enjoying them.
