We are still learning details of this kit of an icon of the American automobile industry, but as a preview, it can be completed in any of its three variants, whether convertible, with a hardtop or with a soft top roof. Among the varied amount of materials included is the
carpet inside the cabin, which will come in
three colors to be able to reproduce any of the interiors available for the 1960 C1 versions. The tires have the
white band pre-painted on the rubber itself, achieving a hyperrealistic finish. I can't wait for it to arrive!

Without a doubt, the Chevrolet Corvette takes you back to the colorful "Rock & Roll" times of the 1950s! In 1958 it was equipped with a 6,400 cc V8 engine fed by a large Edelbrock carburettor and Edelbrock manifold, sending power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox. The engine made around 250bhp at 4,800rpm, although with the top specification carburettors it could easily reach 270bhp. A striking detail was its rev counter set at 8,000 rpm.
At the body level, which was made of GRP plastic, it already mounted the four front headlights, keeping its rear part beautifully curved, and it even had air conditioning. The 1950s Chevrolet Corvette is the only American sports car with European qualities. Its weight was relatively light, 1470 kg, which allowed it to reach a top speed of 200 km/h.
