Shunko recommends using hot water, leaving the decals into the water longer than usual. After that, leave it untouched for about 20 seconds before handling, and position it carefully and slowly into place while applying heat with a hair dryer. Never use Mark Fit or any other decal fitting liquid. Shunko Models decal products are for advanced users only. If you fail to apply the decal, the manufacturer will not exchange or refund.
Curious decoration that Shunko has prepared for the Ferrari 312T Hasegawa kit. One of the few, but surely the last, private Ferrari to compete in a Formula 1 race. The later founder of the Minardi team reached an agreement with Ferrari, managing to put a 312T on the track in two non-scoring events in 1976 with Giancarlo Martini at the wheel. If you want to build something special, this is undoubtedly a great opportunity!

Additional details for the Ferrari 312T marking / livery:

It was the 1975 season when Giancarlo Minardi reached an agreement with Ferrari to have Formula 1 single-seaters from the Maranello factory for three seasons, starting with 1976, and to compete as a private team in some events, mainly non-scoring events. The idea of the project was to promote young Italian talents. Thanks to this agreement between Giancarlo Minardi and Enzo Ferrari, the Everest team would have a Ferrari 312 T in 1976, going on to use a 312 T2 in 1977 and 1978, although unfortunately the latter never happened. This agreement even extended to Formula 2 as well, so that Ferrari undertook to provide engines for the Scuderia Everest team in this category.

The chassis that Ferrari delivered to Minardi for Giancarlo Martini to drive was 021, officially used in 1975 by Clay Regazzoni at the Swedish and Dutch Grand Prix, where he achieved third place each. Wearing number #36, Martini's first entry in the Scudería Everest Ferrari was in the 1976 Race of Champions held at Brands Hatch, a non-World Championship qualifying race. The result was not good at all, with a difference in practice between Niki Lauda and Martini of five seconds. And to top it off, Martini couldn't even take the start when he went off the track on the warm-up lap, retiring before the start. After that disastrous first participation, the team moved to Silverstone for the BRDC International Trophy, achieving a more worthy result. After qualifying in tenth position out of eighteen cars, he also finished tenth, one lap behind the winner.

But the overall result of the experience in Formula 1 was considered a failure, in addition to the fact that maintaining a Formula 1 was becoming more and more expensive, and both parties decided to concentrate on Formula 2, leaving aside the initial plan to put on track a private Ferrari in 1977 and 1978.

The Japanese brand Shunko Models is specialized in decals for renewing the sets of our older models, mainly from Tamiya and Hasegawa in both 1/24 and 1/12 scales, although they also delight us with some new decorations that never were available with the originals.
