Pre-painted version of Meng's BMW HP4 RACE in 1/9 scale, created for all those with a less "complicated" approach to the hobby. The finish of the carbon parts, including the rims, is simply a delight, as is the fairing of the bike. The BMW HP4 RACE, developed by the BMW Motorrad competition department, is a sports model for the circuit of which only 750 units were built. It is based on the bike used by the brand in the Superbike World Championship (SBK), and it could be said that it even surpasses it in some aspects. Thanks to its carbon fibre chassis, its weight is only 171 kg, so the HP4 RACE even weighs less than the bikes used by the brand in the Superbike championship, and barely exceeds the weight of the official MotoGP bikes.
The HP4 RACE is equipped with a water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine that delivers a power of 215 HP at 13.900 rpm and a torque of 120 Nm at 10.000 rpm. It has a competition-derived “close-ratio” gearbox with optimized gear ratios, but it was also supplied with various secondary ratios, including various pinions and rear sprockets.
Its electronics are also derived from the competition motorcycle, with functions that can be programmed for each gear according to the rider's preferences. The dynamic traction control system, which works by switching off the ignition, the braking system with the Engine Brake EBR motor and the wheelie control system offer numerous adjustment possibilities depending on the track and asphalt conditions. It even has a speed limitation system (Pit-Line-Limiter) to respect the maximum speed allowed on the pit line.
With this bike, BMW became the first motorcycle manufacturer in the world to offer an all-carbon main frame, weighing just 7.8 kilograms. In addition to the chassis, the rear swingarm and wheels are also made of carbon.

The Chinese brand
Meng Model has entered the civilian scale modeling world with strength, releasing highly detailed and complete products. Their 1/9 scale motorcycles and their most recent creations in 1/12 and 1/24 scales are a good example of this, and we are already waiting for more releases. And let's not forget their suggestive figures so that your scale motorcycle does not lack company.
