This is a scale model kit to be assembled by an adult; it includes all the parts as indicated but it does not include glue or paints, which can also be purchased separately at SpotModel!.

What a great opportunity to make the winning car of the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans with the number #10 driven by Gendebien and Hill! The kit also includes the option to make the number #17 of the North American Racing team. As usual in MFH, various materials are combined to reproduce the real vehicle in detail, and once assembled it allows to show its interior thanks to its removable front hood and movable doors and rear hood. A marvel!

The Ferrari 250 TRI/61 was an evolution of the Ferrari TR59/60 winner in 1960 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and for that reason it was the main favourite to win the World Sports Car Championship as well. Its main adversaries were the Maserati, Porsche and Aston Martin, although they could not come close to the performance of the “Red Head”, so named for its 2912cc 60° Ferrari V12 engine with cylinder heads painted a striking red colour.
With the number #10 at its doors and with Gendebien and Hill at its controls, the Ferrari 250 TRI/61 achieved victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1961, achieving the Maranello brand its second consecutive victory in form overwhelming.
Also on the podium was the sister car with the number 11 number of Parkes and Mairesse with a distance of three laps, while in third place came the Ferrari 250 GTO number 14 of Noblet and Guichet sixteen laps from the winner.
The duo Gendebien and Hill had already won the Sebring 12 Hours at the beginning of the season with the Ferrari 250 TRI/61, while at the end of 1961 the Italian manufacturer took home the title of the World Sports Car Championship.
