The original Mini lived its last years of production when it was decided to give the Cooper version an even sportier touch, with an
accessory package called Sport, which included wide wings, auxiliary headlight pod and wider wheels. All these elements have been included in this new Hasegawa kit, with which you can assemble what is perhaps the most "vitaminized" street version of the Mini Cooper. What a bomb!
Additional details for the
Mini Cooper 1.3 Sport Pack car scale model kit:
When it was launched in 1959, the Mini instantly became a benchmark for virtually any driver, regardless of social class. The Mini even became a winning model in the most varied categories of the world of motorsports, thanks mainly to John Cooper Garages, who after having demonstrated his skills in Formula 1 began to modify and improve the performance of the Mini, also becoming an update authorized by the brand.
In the 1990s, Cooper Garages had an extensive catalog of upgrades for the Mini, whether cosmetic, interior, chassis or engine upgrades, and most importantly, maintaining the manufacturer's warranty.
The Sport 5 was one of the versions offered by John Cooper Garages, where the engine increased power to 86 HP, from which it was easy to extract all its performance thanks to the Jack Knight Designs five-speed gearbox that it mounted. These versions also included exclusive side stickers and other specific details.

The Japanese company
Hasegawa has been one of the benchmarks for civilian vehicles for years, with fantastic models of cars and motorcycles. Although their most classic products continue to delight the most demanding modellers, with reissues that allow us to continue enjoying them, the new molds from this manufacturer have been quite a surprise (a pleasant one) due to their considerable jump in quality both in details as in fittings. If you try, surely you will repeat!
