The second version that Tamiya has decided to launch of the Honda CBR1000RR-R kit reproduces the decoration used by Honda in the commemorative version for the 30th "birthday" since the first Fireblade was launched back in 1992. In addition to the
new decal sheet printed by Cartograf, faithfully representing the red and blue elements of the tricolor decoration, new parts are also included, such as the
Akrapovic exhaust muffler. Once assembled, the model allows the removal of the side and lower fairing components, as well as the fuel tank, revealing all the mechanical parts of this technological marvel.

Paints recommended by Tamiya / SpotModel for this product:
Presented in 2019 at the Milan Motor Show, the Honda CBR1000RR-R SP Fireblade was the model developed by Honda to be used in its assault on the World Superbike crown from 2020, and for this the Japanese manufacturer incorporated several notable improvements that placed it at the forefront of Superbike technology.
The bike uses some of the technologies and systems used in the MotoGP Honda RC2V13, mounting semi-active Öhlins front forks, as well as a rear shock absorber from the same brand. The 1,000 cm3 in-line four-cylinder engine, with a slightly higher output of 215CV at an impressive 14,500 rpm, is based on a mixed chain and gear cascade system, where characteristics are also shared with the competition RC213V, maintaining the same bore, stroke and friction reduction technology with titanium connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons. Its titanium exhaust signed by the Akrapovic brand is also very striking.
The braking system features a radial-mount Brembo four-piston front caliper and the same Brembo monobloc rear caliper found on the RC213V.
The aerodynamic fairings generate an aerodynamic coefficient of only 0.27, a figure unmatched in production motorcycles, and to help driving it incorporates a large number of electronic assistance systems, and all for a final weight of only 201 kg.
SpotModel recommends this product exclusively for experienced professional modellers and collectors. Take appropriate precautions as this product is not a toy, it can be toxic and/or dangerous. Keep away from children. Use is not allowed for children under 14 years.
