The second Porsche 356 SL to compete in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana was the one driven by Suhr and Alfonso. At that time the vehicles were prepared in a completely handmade way, and the differences with respect to other Porsche 356 are appreciable. Unfortunately, this vehicle failed to finish the race.
