Tameo is currently undergoing an update of their decal designs, so the final product may differ slightly from the one shown in the product pictures.
White metal 1/43 scale kit of one of Senna's most emblematic cars, his Lotus 97T. A beast with more than 1,000 hp that Ayrton managed to tame like few others. For those who want a simple assembly, Tameo Kits has developed this
reference with the rear hood closed, but with all the other details that make this model so recognizable. The white metal body and floor give shape to the model, which is complemented by an extensive series of photo-etched parts for detailing.
Additional details for the
Lotus Renault 97T car scale model kit:
The 1985 Belgian Grand Prix took place at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on 15 September 1985. The race was supposed to take place on 2nd June as the fifth round of the season, two weeks after the Monaco GP, but was then postponed to September as the new asphalt, just laid, crumbled as the cars passed. The race was won by Ayrton Senna at the wheel of the Lotus Renault 97T. It was one of the most beautiful victories for the Brazilian driver obtained on the wet asphalt of Spa.
