In times past it was common for a vehicle to practically dominate the market, as happened with the Renault Estafette, which was widely used in many activities and by numerous companies not only in France. Even the French police had their own fleet of Estafettes, based on variants for the transport of people. The first series had an 845 cc engine derived from the one mounted on the Renault Dauphine, and which delivered 32 CV of power, which was more than enough for the needs of the time. This engine is faithfully reproduced in the model, which includes the specific elements of the police version, such as the rotating light on the roof, as well as an interior with two extra rows of seats.
