Additional details for the
Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe G-Model car scale model kit:
The Porsche 911 was presented in 1963 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, and throughout its history Porsche has been constantly updating and modernizing its different generations. In 1983 there was an important update that affected its 6-cylinder boxer engine, which had greater power, but more importantly, lower consumption. It was still air-cooled, but with a higher stroke and compression ratio, reaching 10.3:1. The displacement increased to 3,164 cc, with a power of 231 hp, launching the German coupe up to 245 km/h. Torque is also improved, rising to 284Nm at 4,800rpm, with maximum torque set at 5,900rpm. Consumption in the urban cycle was only 13.6 litres, and on the highway at 120 km/h the approved consumption was 9 litres, which was a great advance compared to previous variants.
