It has been waiting, but it is finally here. The photos leave no room for doubt, it is a
spectacular kit with a great level of detail. Photo-etched parts, separate windows, interior of the optics with volume, door panels with all their elements and separated from the passenger compartment, fabric for the seat belts, rubber tires, vents for the front rims, night lamp pod... a pleasure even for the eyes. This reference allows the version of the
1992 Rally de Portugal to be made, in which Miki Biasion reached the second final position. We are sure that the
Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4 Gr.A model will be a must among all rally lovers, and competition in general.

During the 1989 season, the Ford rally team's efforts all but ceased as they concentrated all their efforts on developing a 4WD version of the Sierra RS Cosworth. All of this materialized in the 1990 season with the first appearance of an RS Cosworth 4x4 in the Alicante Rally in Spain, where with a prototype unit Josép María Bardolet won this rally held entirely on gravel in which non-homologated cars were admitted. The official debut of the Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 was at the 1000 Lakes Rally after its homologation on August 1st, 1990.
The RS Cosworth 4x4 did not make a sudden impact on the World Rally Championship. There was a gradual evolution for the Sierra over its time as works car, with gradual weight loss through the adoption of magnesium parts and the use of Kevlar structures instead of metal. Water cooling for the brakes was also introduced and larger diameter rims were fitted to accommodate larger brakes.
Despite all this, the Sierra Cosworth 4x4 never won a World Rally Championship rally, despite some outstanding performances from Miki Biasion and, in particular, Francois Delecour. The car's best results in the World Championship were two second places in the 1992 season, the first in Portugal with Biasion and the next at the Tour de Corse with Delecour.
