The Pagani Huayra is a mid-engine supercar produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani, and was introduced in 2011 as the successor to the Zonda. Like the Zonda, it has a name associated with the wind, since the word Huayra comes from Quechua, which translates as wind.
The exterior of the Huayra is a work of art, with fluid lines, sharp angles and aerodynamic curves. It is constructed from a mix of carbon fibre and titanium, making it lightweight but strong. It features active front and rear spoilers that adjust their angles depending on speed and driving conditions, helping to increase downforce and stability.
Under the rear hood we find a 6.0-liter V12 engine capable of generating 754 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. To transmit power to the rear wheels, it has a seven-speed automated manual transmission. The Coupé version reaches a top speed of around 370 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
The interior of the Huayra is as impressive as its exterior. It is made by hand with top quality materials, such as leather, carbon fibre and aluminium. The car features a fully digital instrument cluster, a high-end sound system and a customized infotainment system that adapts to each owner's preferences.
In total, only 100 Huayra Coupé were built.
