Italeri has carried out a review of its Scania 143 molds to launch this new reference, which includes new parts and a complete sheet of decals to be able to make
two different versions of
the cabin design, and with the option of license plates for most of the European countries. A kit that, as usual at Italeri, allows us to reproduce in great detail not only the cabin of the truck, but also the entire mechanical part and the chassis.

The iconic Scania R143 M Streamline, presented in 1987, became one of the benchmarks in the Scandinavian manufacturer's product range, achieving great commercial success between the late 1980s and mid-1990s. This Scania model was assembled in Sweden at the Södertälje production plant, and was one of the most successful models of the so-called "series 3", successor to the innovative "series 2" of the 1980s. Powerful and reliable thanks to its 500 horsepower V8 engine, it was designed with the most advanced technologies of the time. Great attention was paid to its design to reduce aerodynamic drag and minimize fuel consumption, an important factor for successful long-distance heavy transport use. Another factor that contributed to the success of the Scania tractor unit was its ease of maintenance and low operating and management costs.
