It has been more than 37 years since the appearance of the first Suzuki GSX-750 on the market, a pioneering model in the offer of motorcycles derived from competition, but approved for use on the street. The model offers us a very complete exploded view of all the mechanics, as well as the chassis, with the new swingarm incorporated for the 1986 version. Its characteristic front with the double faired headlight is more than recognizable. A legend!

In 1983 Suzuki became the first brand to offer the public a true replica of the one used in competition with its Suzuki RG 250 Gamma. The next step to continue taking advantage of the experience acquired by Suzuki in the Endurance World Championship, Superbikes and the AMA Championship was to offer a 400cc 4-stroke model for the Japanese market and, a year later, to complete the offer with a 750cc model. That model was the 1985 GSX-R 750, built to compete in the different championships around the world, while also being homologated for street use.
Its 747cc air/oil-cooled engine was powered by 29mm guillotine carburetors, delivering 106bhp for a curb weight of just 176kg, thanks to the use of materials such as magnesium. The bike evolved in its 1986 version, mounting a swingarm 2.5 cm longer to achieve a less nervous behavior, and slightly modifying the lower part of the fairing.

The Japanese company
Hasegawa has been one of the benchmarks for civilian vehicles for years, with fantastic models of cars and motorcycles. Although their most classic products continue to delight the most demanding modellers, with reissues that allow us to continue enjoying them, the new molds from this manufacturer have been quite a surprise (a pleasant one) due to their considerable jump in quality both in details as in fittings. If you try, surely you will repeat!
