This peculiar carbon fibre pattern began to be used in Formula 1 at the beginning of the year 2000, since it provided rigidity and a very light weight to the car structure. Later, all kinds of GTs and other racing machines started to use it too.

A few years ago,
Scale Motorsport became a benchmark in the world of scale modeling, being a pioneer brand in the design of decals with all kinds of patterns of the different carbon fibers and Kevlar present in the world of competition, and later expanding their catalogue also for upholstery patterns. Their photo-etched parts are also highly appreciated, as well as some complete detailing sets. An option to consider quite seriously.
