Lamborghini introduced the Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce at the Geneva Motor Show. This version has a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 750 hp at 8,400 rpm and 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm, doing 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The LP750-4 has a greater number of carbon parts, which officially reduces the weight by 50 kg, staying at 1,525 kg. The aerodynamics were also revised to increase downforce by 170 percent over the base Aventador, drawing attention to its large rear wing.
The Lamborghini LP750-4 mounts the seven-speed ISR transmission controlled by huge paddle shifters, which sends power to all four wheels via a Generation IV Haldex drive system. Lamborghini Dynamic Steering and an advanced adaptive suspension system called Magneto Rheological Suspension help keep power in check and keep the front end pointing in the right direction. Perhaps for all this it was not so surprising when it was announced during its launch that the LP750-4 had been able to lap the mythical Nurburgring circuit in a time of 6:59:73.
