Additional details for the
Honda S600 car scale model kit:
Building on the success of the limited production Honda S500, in 1964 Honda launched the S600. Initially it was only available as a roadster vehicle, but a fastback coupe version would soon follow. The S600 was powered by a 606 cubic centimeter inline four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts, and fed by four Keihin carburetors, it generated a power of 57 horsepower. An impressive fact for the time is that the engine could reach 9,500 rpm... almost like a motorcycle! The engine was backed by a four-speed manual gearbox that sent power to the rear wheels through a hypoid differential via chain final drives... again, like a motorcycle!
