For the birth of this version, unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, the NISMO team took 20 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) in excellent condition, each of the 20 units built by hand. This is how the Z-Tune was born, a fully customized supercar, which presented significant improvements over the conventional R34. In terms of mechanics, its 2.8-liter biturbo engine was optimized, reaching a power of 500 CV. To tame such cavalry, they were fitted with a special Sachs suspension system and a specific braking system designed in conjunction with Brembo engineers. Packed with racing parts, and with carbon body elements to lighten the weight, the Z-tune was hailed as one of the best road cars of its day, combining luxury with spectacular performance.
