Mitsubishi remained in the World Rally Championship as the only team with a car under Gr.A regulations, with its competitive Lancer, while all its rivals had switched to WRC regulations. To maintain this competitiveness, in 2001 a new evolution of the Lancer Evo was launched, characterized by a
new front bumper, and which was called
Evo 6.5. Renaissance has reproduced the front bumper in resin in order to easily transform our Lancer Evo VI Tamiya kit into the versions used in the
2001 World Championship rallies. And if you prefer the street version, this bumper is necessary to make the
"Tommi Makinen edition" version, marketed for the Evo 6.5 Gr.A version homologation.
