rims and rear spoiler used in this version, which differ from the parts included in the Porsche 934 kit.

The 1980 Le Mans edition went down in history as the first in which a driver won the race in his own car. Jean Rondeau, the car's constructor, together with Jean-Pierre Jaussaud, completed 4,608.02 km at an average speed of 192 km/h to claim victory.
In that same edition, although with other more modest goals, the Almeras brothers competed aboard a Group 4 Porsche 934, with Frenchwoman Marianne Hoepfner as the third driver. They had to retire during the 21st hour of the race, running in fifteenth position at that time, due to the damage caused to the car after going off the track at the Dunlop curve.
