Shunko recommends using hot water, leaving the decals into the water longer than usual. After that, leave it untouched for about 20 seconds before handling, and position it carefully and slowly into place while applying heat with a hair dryer. Never use Mark Fit or any other decal fitting liquid. Shunko Models decal products are for advanced users only. If you fail to apply the decal, the manufacturer will not exchange or refund.
The Group C vehicles were very famous in the 80s and 90s, so much so that there were national championships to race with these circuit monsters, as happened in Japan within the JSPC. There were many Japanese teams that, in addition, took advantage of the WEC world championship races in Japan to measure themselves against the best teams in the world. The Omron team's Porsche 962C finished the 1988 WEC race at Fuji in second place, and the following year in the JSPC it took victory in the second race, also at Fuji. These Shunko decals
can be used as a replacement for the original Hasegawa kit decals of the same version, or used to modify
any of the other Hasegawa 962C references.

The Porsche 962 (also known as 962C when participating in the Group C category) was a competition prototype built by Porsche as an evolution of the 956, and designed mainly to comply with the GTP regulations of the IMSA championship, although later it would also compete in European Group C just like its predecessor the Porsche 956. The 962 was introduced at the end of 1984, from which point it quickly became a success through privateer teams, having a remarkably long racing career, being a vehicle still competitive until the mid-1990s.
