Little by little Tamiya is giving us the opportunity, with limited reissues, to complete our collection of its mythical 1/12 models, with spectacular details and finishes even for current times, and with some improvements, since it
includes photo-etched parts and metal turned intake trumpets. Don't let it get away from you again!

Tyrrell Ford P34 Six Wheeler car scale model kit:
Paints recommended by Tamiya / SpotModel for this product:
The Tyrrell P34 (Project 34), also known as the "six wheeler", was a Formula 1 single-seater created by Derek Gardner, Tyrrell's lead designer in the 1970s, in response to new regulations being introduced to the 1976 Formula 1 championship.
The car used 10-inch diameter wheels and tires at the front, made especially for the single-seater, and normal wheels at the rear.
Contrary to popular belief, the idea of front tires smaller was not having less "frontal area" to reduce drag, as frontal area was still determined by the size of the rear slicks, which remained the standard size. In fact, the advantage of the six-wheel design is that it reduced the lift caused by the use of two larger front wheels, thus improving front downforce, increasing the total contact area of the front tires, and brake discs had a larger swept area.
