This is a scale model kit to be assembled by an adult; it includes all the parts as indicated, but it does not include glue or paints.
What was the first Belkits reference is still fully valid. Belkits was one of the first brands to bet on the most recent rally models in the
S2000 category, with a multitude of units spread over countless championships, which allows for the most varied decorations. Good fit, great detail of the interior, with photoetched parts that include the seat bases or the buckles for the harnesses, the chassis leaving the wheel arches closed, the inner part of the headlights with volume and separated from the bodywork, are
details that without a doubt they make a difference and help the modeller. A model not to be missed!
Additional details for the
Peugeot 207 S2000 car scale model kit:
Technically speaking, the S2000 category is essentially about rally vehicles with a 2-litre naturally aspirated engine, four-wheel drive and sequential gearbox, without any electronic aids, piloted gearboxes or active differentials. The gearbox, from the Sadev brand, is common to all models, and there are also limitations for the engine, such as a top speed set at 8,500 revolutions or the flanged intake throttle.
Within this category, Peugeot had the ideal model, its 207 model, suitably reinforced and worked on at the chassis level, with extraordinary rigidity thanks to the welded multipoint arch. One of the points that has had to be transformed the most is the suspensions, resorting to identical systems in both the front and rear to adapt the all-wheel drive. The brakes are also limited by the regulations, with four-piston Brembo calipers and 300 mm ventilated discs on both trains for gravel, which become 355 mm at the front for asphalt. The tires are 18” on asphalt and 15” on gravel. The engine used by the Peugeot was the EW10J4S with 1,998 cc and four valves per cylinder, with Magneti Marelli electronic management, reaching approximately 280 hp.
With this model, Peugeot won the title of the IRC (Intercontinental Rally Challenge ) in the years 2007 (Enrique García Ojeda), 2008 (Nicolas Vouilloz) and 2009 (Kris Meeke).
