This is a scale model kit to be assembled by an adult; it includes all the parts as indicated, but it does not include glue or paints.
Another one of Tamiya's scale kits of late 90's superbikes, available again. As usual for the Tamiya, it comes with a complete breakdown of the engine, a transverse four-cylinder with a 16-valve cylinder head and double camshaft, the double-beam aluminum frame, the swingarm or the "shark-profile" fairing. A true classic that, thanks to Tamiya, we can once again have in our windows.

When the Honda CBR 1100 XX Super Blackbird was launched at the end of 1996, it became the fastest motorcycle in the world at around 290 km/h (287.3 km/h to be exact). But really, Honda was not only looking for that record, but also wanted a great sport-tourism, a motorcycle that combined a smooth and powerful engine, easy handling, great comfort, reliability and ride and construction quality, and that was maintained with few changes during its active life, which ended in 2008, after 4 versions with minimal aesthetic changes in its design (1997-1998; 1999-2000; 2001-2003; 2004-2008).
A 1,137cc water-cooled four-cylinder engine with a 16-valve cylinder head and double overhead camshaft was assembled, with a double balancer shaft to eliminate vibrations, and fed by 4 carburettors, which delivered a maximum power of 164 CV (in 1999, starting with the second generation of the CBR 1100, the carburetion was changed to a fuel injection system).
Despite a weight of approximately 225 kg and its high performance, its stability on the straight was impeccable, with an aluminum double-spar chassis where the engine was anchored without rubber mounts, which increased structural rigidity. As far as suspension is concerned, the front fork had a 43mm diameter and 120mm travel, while a Pro-Link system with a single 120mm shock with preload adjustment was mounted at the rear. provided exceptional agility and great maneuverability.
