The BMW 3.0 CSI E9 has rightfully become a true classic. Manufactured by the renowned coachbuilder Karmann at their Rheine plant between 1968 and 1975, the E9 series coupes were known for their elegant styling and sporty performance. Now, thanks to DiOlex, you can build and display this classic BMW model in your showcase. This 3D-printed scale resin model boasts meticulous attention to detail and an interesting parts breakdown, including detailed components such as the underbody and suspension. With a look that could be described as understated, the BMW M5 E28 was unveiled at the Amsterdam Motor Show in February 1985. Developed on the basis of the 535i, its major innovation lay in its mechanics, derived from that of the BMW M1. A 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine, with optimized electronics, produced 286 hp, 9 more than the M1. In total, only 2,200 units left BMW Motorsport GmbH in Munich, given its high price, even exceeding that of a Porsche 911 Carrera of the time. But that doesn't diminish its iconic status, the first of a line. The TVR Sagaris, of which only 211 units were manufactured between 2004 and 2006, was renowned for its radical design and raw performance, standing out for offering a visceral driving experience that was hard to match. In fact, the Sagaris had no driver assistance systems whatsoever, not even ABS or airbags, and its interior was very spartan, lacking air conditioning. All of this was aimed at reducing weight and costs as much as possible. However, thanks to its 4-liter, inline 6-cylinder engine, capable of generating over 400 hp, the Sagaris reached the 300 km/h top speed barrier... pure adrenaline! Now, thanks to DiOlex, you can build this spectacular model with a 3D-printed scale resin model, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, especially in the body and interior. Watch out! This kit does not include a floor piece or detailed suspension. The brakes and wheel hubs are glued inside the body, and once all the parts are assembled, the absence of a floor is not noticeable. In 2012, the French company Vintech, part of the D3 group and specializing in 3D modeling, lightweight materials, and automotive design, decided to pay homage to the Porsche 550 by presenting the elegant P550 Tribute coupé at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The model features a 3.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine, believed to produce around 270 hp, which is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The BMW 2800 GTS is a truly unique car, as only one exists in the world, and it was recently restored by BMW itself. Based on an E9 2800 CS, designer Pietro Frua completely transformed its exterior, turning it into a fastback coupé. The front grille was angled, and the headlights were positioned further back from the leading edge of the hood. Unfortunately, after being presented at several auto shows, BMW decided the vehicle didn't generate enough interest to enter series production.
