Taking advantage of the development of the 1/24 scale model kit of the Ferrari 312T, Tameo Kits is releasing a second reference, corresponding to the last unit of a Formula 1 Ferrari ever used by a private team. In modern rallies, all car maintenance and support takes place in large service parks, with big tents and even motor homes, almost like in Formula 1 or MotoGP. But not so long ago, support was very different, and each team had to schedule the points where they would service their cars after the stages. The long distances on narrow roads meant that teams had to hire professional drivers as mechanics who, almost at the pace of the competitors themselves, could reach the end of the stages via parallel roads and provide initial support to the cars in case of any problems. Using solvent-based paints will soften the resin from which the stencil is made, causing the fine details of some of the lettering to dissolve and disappear.
