Shunko Models has updated its decal set for the Tamiya Toyota TS020 model, but has reduced the number of decals included compared to the SHK-D010 reference. In the 1970s, before the invention of pneumatic jacks and modern wheeled carts, moving an F1 car with its enormous tires was a nearly impossible task. That's why it became common to mount much narrower wheels, sometimes even completely metal, on the cars to move them around the paddock or pit lane. These types of wheels were also used to configure the setup and perform precise alignment, both in toe-in and camber. Stone Models has 3D-printed the dummy wheel sets used on Lotus cars from the late 1970s, such as the Lotus 78 and 79, to scale. They are ideal for creating a diorama recreating the car's preparation in the pit lane.
