Scheckter

Scheckter
In 1979, Jody Scheckter wins the Formula 1 World Championship at the wheel of the Ferrari 312T4. And which manufacturer has the model in 1/20 scale? Model Factory Hiro has it, of course, a superb product that combines hybrid injection with white metal parts, turned parts, etc.

This "little gem" was reissued a few months ago, although there weren't enough units for everyone since it was a limited series... and more than one person was left wanting to get one, right?

BUT, since we are persistent, very persistent, we have managed to get Model Factory Hiro to manufacture a few more units, which will undoubtedly fly. So stop reading this and get yours right now!!! :D

SpotModel makes the impossible a reality. :)

The official North American Porsche team carried out an interesting "game" with its decorations on the two 911 RSR-19s that participated in the 2020 12 Hours of Sebring, a race belonging to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and each of them carried part of the American flag on its bodywork. Two very different decorations, but with a strong common link. And in addition, they achieved the double within the GTLM category. Thanks to this set of decals, composed of two sheets, you can complete either of these two decorations. To complete the correct model, in addition to the Nunu kit of the Porsche 911 991 GT3 RSR, the ZoomOn brand transkit reference Z187 is needed to convert it into the 2020 Porsche 911.2 RSR.

After months and months of waiting, the long-awaited Porsche 911 991 GT3 RSR model has finally arrived. A kit that allows you to reproduce the 2018 versions, characterised by their large rear diffuser that caused the lower part of the rear bumper to simply not exist. And to make it even more attractive, the decoration included is not only that of the car that won the LMGTE Pro category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but also recalls the one used by the Porsche team on one of its 917/20s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971, which was nicknamed “Pink Pig”. Who would have thought that you would want to have a pink car in your showcase!

BMW with its 320i won five races in the 1996 season, dominated with an iron fist by the Audi A4 with its all-wheel drive.

A Tamiya classic, in a version that also has history, since the Renault 5 Turbo was the winner of the 1981 edition of the Monte-Carlo Rally. A kit that, unlike the original, no longer has the electric motor, but which keeps the rest of the parts, such as the two drivers who can sit inside, which can be ideal to put our Renault 5 Turbo in some scenario with "movement". In this reissue, some details have been corrected, such as the car's number plates on the decal sheet, which now correspond to the rally-winning version.

Launched in 2006, the Kawasaki ZZR1400 was intended to be the fastest production motorcycle in the world. To achieve this, it was equipped with a 1.352 cc inline 4-cylinder engine capable of generating up to 190 hp. Its design was unique, with a front fairing with six lights and black side grilles that extend along the fairing. All its features have been faithfully reproduced in this Tamiya kit, which once assembled has a total length of 180 mm. The kit allows you to choose between three specifications to build: North America, Europe or Malaysia. It has metal transfers for most of the emblems and for the rearview mirror lenses.

Tamiya: Car scale model kit 1/24 scale - Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC 1981 - plastic parts, rubber parts, water slide decals manufactured with digital technology, assembly instructions and painting instructions

Tamiya Reference: TAM24029

We have to go back to 1982 to find the moment when Tamiya launched the first edition of its Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC kit, a luxury coupe equipped with a powerful 4,973 cc V8 engine capable of generating up to 231 hp at 4.750 rpm, allowing the 500 SEC, with its more than 1.600 kg of weight and almost 5 m of length, to reach a maximum speed of 225 km/h. Now, after many years, this kit is available again with hardly any changes compared to the original reference, although with updated decals and instruction manual. The kit is characterised by faithfully reproducing the lines of the original car, including its chassis and front engine, easily accessible thanks to its removable hood. Inside, its luxurious finish with wooden inserts can be easily reproduced thanks to the decals, which incorporate these motifs, as well as the pattern of the upholstery for the seats.

Tamiya: Car scale model kit 1/24 scale - Honda Prelude XX - plastic parts, rubber parts, water slide decals, assembly instructions and placement instructions

Tamiya Reference: TAM24032

Re-edition of the Tamiya kit of the second generation of the Honda Prelude XX, launched in November 1982, and which had the honour of being the first Japanese model to incorporate the ABS anti-lock braking system. The Prelude's engine, faithfully reproduced in the kit, and easily accessible thanks to its removable front hood, was a 1.829 cc inline 4-cylinder. This re-edition takes the opportunity to modify and improve some aspects with respect to the original reference, such as the new decals, which include the front and rear Honda emblems, which in the original kit had to be painted, the emblems on the centre caps of the rims and the speaker grilles in the passenger compartment. The tone of the transparent parts sprue has also been modified, which is now transparent instead of the smoked tone present in previous editions. And we still love its system that allows its retractable front headlights to be movable!

The Vtec name has been associated, for many years, with Honda engines, but there was a time close to its launch when Honda advertised this new technology incorporated in its engines, and its advantages in terms of performance. A clear example is the decoration used in the tests carried out in 1990 at the Suzuka circuit, with the entire upper part of the vehicle covered with the Vtec logos. Now you can reproduce this version on your Nunu/Beemax kits of the Civic EF9.

This reference designed by Shunko Models corrects all these errors, allowing the decoration used in the German Grand Prix held at the Hockenheim circuit to be made, with a sponsor scheme practically identical (in fact, it was the previous race) to that used in the French Grand Prix. The decal sheet includes the logos of the tobacco sponsors.

Thanks to the collaboration with BBR, Arena Modelli is launching a series to reproduce different versions of the Ferrari 512 BB LM with a long tail. These kits, made of resin at a scale of 1/43, present some modifications with respect to the kits from which they are derived, with additional details both in the cockpit and, above all, in the engine area. The number of photo-etched parts has also been increased. This reference allows the production of the unit with chassis number #30559, entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1980. Unfortunately, after a serious engine failure during training, it was ultimately unable to take part in the race. Another peculiarity of this unit is that it used BBS rims, something unusual for Ferraris of that time.

This reference allows the production of the unit with chassis number #28601, which participated in the training sessions for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1980, where, curiously, it sported the number #79 on its doors in an unusual yellow colour. Among other differences, the car has grilles on the front hood above the wheels for the hot air outlet of the front brakes, particularly compact rearview mirrors and NACA air intakes on the sides with a different design to the rest of the 512BB LM.

Scalecars.Online: Air valve 1/24 scale - NASCAR type 2 - 3D printed parts - 40 units

Scalecars.Online Reference: SCO-R077

Support with 40 units of tire inflation valves made of 3D printed resin. The design of the valves is similar to that used on the rims of NASCAR championship vehicles, but they can be used on other 1/25-1/24 scale models. The set includes two types of valves, which differ only in their length. The valves are delivered on a stand with walls, which must be removed to make it easier to paint the parts.
