Newsletter 611: Peterbilt Detroit Diesel

GP Modeling has just surprised us with its new reference. A complete and detailed engine designed specifically for the 1/24 scale kits of the Peterbilt 377 and 378 series trucks. The transkit, made up of more than 30 parts, is printed with 3D technology and the parts are supplied with their printing support. Also included is a decal sheet (not pre-cut) that reproduces the service labels for the various components. The engine version reproduced in this transkit is the 12.7 liter (although the external dimensions of the engine block are practically the same as those of the 14 liter engine) in DDEC IV (Detroit Diesel Electronic Control) configuration, which bears the plate alternator and air conditioning compressor support on the right side (standardized version since 2002). There's no excuse for leaving your Peterbilt's engine cover open!

Complete complete set of the brake system designed for the 1/12 scale kits of the McLaren MP4/2C by Protar/Italeri. The set consists of 4 brake discs, 4 hubs with a hollow shaft where the thread has even been detailed, 4 central cores, 8 brake calipers, since two calipers were used on each brake disc, and 4 central nuts, that are operational. Additionally, 4 T-connections and braided cable are included for detailing brake lines. The set comes with a tool to facilitate the assembly of the nuts.

Rim and tire set designed for the 1/12 scale kits of the McLaren MP4/2C by Protar/Italeri, and that will help you improve the final appearance of your model thanks to its correct dimensions. The set consists of 4 13-inch rims, where even the fixing pins have been detailed with the pins printed separately, 4 air valves. and 2 front tires and 2 rear tires where the inscriptions on both sides have also been detailed in volume, recreating the original tire markings. The diameter of the rim is approximately 21.3 mm, and about 12.1 mm wide. These measurements allow the wheels to use the asphalt tires of the Tamiya kits.

Set of resin printed tires designed to replace the rubber tires of Belkits references. These tires are mounted on the original wheels of the kit. The tire's knurling design corresponds to that used by Pirelli. Decals with logos and different possible markings on the tire profile are included.

40 units of the hood latches used in the most modern competition models, where 20 units have been printed closed, but another 20 come with the closing cover raised, showing the latch mechanism and making them ideal for mounting on those models where the hoods are open.

Impressive set to recreate the lamp pod used on the Citroën DS3 WRC during the night stages. The tubular structure of the pod is printed in a single piece along with the housing of the 4 central headlights. The two lower ditch light modules are also included. The lamp reflectors, as well as the control units, are printed separately, making it easier to paint the parts. The crystals are made of pre-cut transparent acetate. The main parts have holes for fixing to the body using magnets, which are included. To do this, it will be necessary to thin the plastic of the body from the inside.

Complete set of wheels and suspensions to transform the references of the Citroën DS3 WRC Heller kit to the gravel version. This set includes rims, tires, wheel hubs with nuts and separate center caps. The increase in height required for the gravel version is achieved through a new suspension assembly, where the springs have been printed separately for better detail. Also included is a new set of smaller diameter brakes, which adjust to the smaller diameter of the rims. Bright!

Complete set of wheels to improve the references of the Heller kit of the Citroën DS3 WRC in its tarmac versions. The design of the rims and tires has been slightly adapted to the dimensions of the kit's body to achieve a better final appearance. This set includes rims, tires, wheel hubs with nuts and separate center caps.

Reissue of the Tamiya kit of the friendly and legendary Fiat 500F, which marked an entire era, especially in Italy itself. On this occasion, Tamiya accompanied the detailed part list of the kit, which includes the engine with its folding hood and which could be partially open to improve cooling, with a renewed sheet of decals that allow the model to be customized.

This set contains the hydraulic fittings in the three most common sizes used in hydraulic systems that are mounted on trucks, hydraulic cranes, gondolas, bulldozers, excavators and any similar machinery.
