The 24 Hours of Spa TotalEnergies was the second event of the Intercontinental GT Challenge of 2022, and this Mercedes GT3 Evo participated in it, with a striking decoration full of orange, red and purple tones, and sponsored by Affalterbach, where Mercedes-AMG manufactures the V8 engines and, from spring 2019, the new 4-cylinder high-performance engines. In the race the team achieved a creditable fourth place, finishing on the same lap as the winner.

The Mercedes AMG GT3 compete within the GT300 category in the Japanese Autobacs Super GT series, and in the 2017 season with one of these vehicles the Goodsmile Racing & Team UKYO team achieved victory in both the drivers and teams sections.
