"Sir, do you have 40x magnifying glasses and precision robotic arms? Decalcas has announced their two new references and it turns out that they have moved into the world of infinitesimal scale modeling". This is what our customers ask us lately. Is it true?

Yes, it is. When you think you have seen it all in modeling, then Decalcas comes and surprises you once again. After a careful inspection of the samples that they have sent us of their next products (see description below), we think that, in fact, the matter has gotten out of hand.

We have taken the picture that you see in the header, in which you simply cannot appreciate the level of detail, precision and finesse of the pieces, yet it is a clear example of what they have done. Interplanetary technology must be what they use to produce these pieces, modeler's word.

At SpotModel we are thinking of offering magnifying glasses and robotic arms, seriously... XD

Decalcas: Bonnet pins 1/24 scale - Toggle Latch Type 01 - 3D printed parts - 12 units

Decalcas Reference: DCL-PAR109

Give your model an extra dose of realism with these hood latches with quick release security, known colloquially in the racing world as "fridge latches", made in 1/24 scale and manufactured using 3D printing. These latches are designed in detail, allowing the possibility of mounting them in an open hood configuration since the latch is made up of two independent pieces, with the latch plate separated from the latch body. Made with the usual quality of DECALCAS products, and with the convenience of not needing a primer in the painting process to avoid losing detail definition, you will only have to paint and assemble the pieces on your scale model. The necessary parts to assemble 12 complete latches are included.

SK Decals Reference: SK-24168

Behind Darryl O'Young's victory in the GT Cup held in Macau there is a whole story of improvement and good work by the team, since during the course of the first race his driver suffered a strong impact, destroying the car. The race was suspended because, due to lack of light, it was impossible to restart the race, so despite the accident, O'Young finished the first race in second position... but now a new race began in the pits to rebuild the car overnight and could be ready for the second race the next day. The team achieved the feat of having the car on time, and the driver rewarded them with a perfect performance, winning the second race and, with it, the overall event count. A story like this well deserved such a well-made decal, and thus be able to reproduce this eye-catching version of the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo.

Tamiya Reference: TAM20071

In the year that marks 45 years since its original release, Tamiya has decided to re-issue the 1/20 scale version of the Porsche 935 in the Vaillant colors, a model that revolutionized Porsche's approach to its relationship with its client computers. And the Kremer brothers developed the Porsche 935 in such a way that not only did they begin to beat the factory cars, but their evolutions began to be mounted on the rest of the Porsches, and with the permission of the factory. The "K" sagas were born. The kit, unlike the original, comes unmotorized, but includes new decals printed by Cartograf and new tires, maintaining the rest of its qualities, such as the detailed six-cylinder turbocharged engine that once assembled, we can admire by removing the rear hood. The decal sheet allows for 2 versions to be made, the usual one used by Bob Wollek in the DRM with the number #51, and also the one used in the Nrburgring 1000 km with John Fitzpatrick with the number #4. Long live the classics!
