We have been stunned by the announcement of the next Tamiya reference at 1/24 scale. A whole stratospheric supercar! And its first assembled image has just been made public at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, as have many of its features... We love that the rear area can be opened to reveal its Cosworth V12 engine, with its curious gullwing engine hood with double leaves reminiscent of classic vehicles. The model reproduces with great realism the most original element of the T.50, the large central rear fan with its internal ducts as in the real car. It also includes photo-etched parts to represent the rear bumper mesh sections, which are attached without the need for glue. In the case of the suspensions, the springs are molded as a separate part from the shocks, which increases realism and makes painting easier. And let's not forget the sheet metal transfers for some of the emblems. Without a doubt, a spectacular kit!

There are doubles, triplets, but Kamaz's result in the 2022 Dakar goes even further... the first four positions of the rally in the truck category were for Kamaz... and there are already 19 victories. The manufacturer Zvezda has developed the kit of this desert beast, and although in principle its scale is somewhat smaller than usual (1/35), the almost 7 meters in length of the real model will mean that once assembled, the model will still have an important size. How well this set of photo-etched parts suits the different Fujimi references of the Williams FW14B kit! We love some of its details, such as the Renault F1 engravings for the engine heads, the detailing for the brake disc cores, the protective plates for the floor in the area of the exhaust outlets, or something so inconspicuous but necessary as the pilot pedals. Practically from the moment of its presentation in 2011, the McLaren MP4-12C had its corresponding competition version to compete in the different GT's championships, among which was the Blancpain Endurance Series. Magny Cours was the fourth race of the series, and the second in which the McLarens participated, although neither of the two units managed to finish the race.
