No-Nuremberg 2021

No-Nuremberg 2021
Around this time of the year, some of us should be preparing the suitcase for flying to Nuremberg to attend the Toy Fair, a meeting point for the main manufacturers of plastic scale models where they reveal the novelties that will delight us during the year. But this year the suitcase will remain in the closet, since due to the pandemic the fair will not be held.

BUT... that does NOT mean there are no novelties... not at all!!! Each manufacturer has held their "own private toy fair" their own way, and they are presenting to the world the novelties they are preparing. And what do we know at the moment? Well, Tamiya reissues the Sauber Mercedes C9 winner of Le Mans in 1989, and they are preparing a Nissan Fairlady 240ZG in 1/24 scale with "all open", in addition to the already announced McLaren Senna. Not bad, but it feels a little bit short...

The next one on the list to "sing" their novelties has been Italeri, basically reeditions of old Esci, Revell and Protar molds, from which stands out in 1/24 scale the Group 5 BMW 320, the street version of the BMW M1, and the GORGEOUS and huge Bugatti Coupe Napoleon; in 1/12 scale we will finally see the MP4/2C, and in 1/9 scale the Suzuki RG 500 XR27 and the KTM MC5 250. Yaayyyyy.... our legs are shaking with emotion!!!! :)

In the absence of the Toy Fair, we will remember the Black Forest having a "currywurst" (typical German sausage) with a Weissbier (typical German beer) at some place near the SpotModel headquarters... :D
