It was only the second edition of the ADAC Deutschland Rally, and it still did not even score for the European Championship, but at the start of the 1983 rally there was nothing more and nothing less than a double world champion like Walter Röhrl at the controls of the Lancia 037 sponsored by Wurth, which without a technical problem, none of them dominated the rally at will.
