Newsletter 266: Old rockers never die

Old rockers never die

Old rockers never die
Every one knows: "old rockers never die". Who didn't build the Ford Escort with the transparent body by Esci 35 years ago? I can see it on the shelf right from my chair: it was my very first assembly of a rally car :'-)

A few years later, Revell reissued Esci's kit right as the century changed. Even though, they still are hard to find "treasures", and if you are lucky enough to get one, the decals would be really ruined... but anyway hold on to them, because they represent the machine that most rallies have Won in racing history.

And suddenly, early this year, Italeri gave us the best news when they announced the new release of the Ford Escort Mk. II kit... Oh yeah! Now you can preorder at SpotModel, with arrival estimated by early July :D

We like rock, we like the Escort, we like SpotModel :)
