Volvo by Highlight Model Studio

Eero Kumanto had a dream: to recreate a model of the Volvo 240 as it circulates in some places in Finland. The idea came from seeing a Volvo parked in a quiet area of the city. He got to work and designed some photo-etched parts that significantly help improve the appearance of the model. Once the model was assembled, Eero was so satisfied with the result that he decided to share it and give everyone who wanted the opportunity to create a model of a personalized street Volvo. This is how the Highlight Model Studio reference was born to detail and make variants of the Volvo 240 scale models that so many modelers wanted to have.

Accelerator, by Tamiya

When we scale modellers sit down to assemble a model, we seek tranquility, we enjoy slowness, we train patience and the total and absolute absence of any kind of rush. Scale modeling requires calm, steady hands and perseverance. We all agree, right? Well, now Tamiya comes saying the exact opposite with their accelerator... XD

The launching of the P34

It is well known that at SpotModel we do everything possible to incorporate the best and biggest amount of information possible in the description of the products we offer, because not only we LOVE building scale models: we also LOVE the world of motors and their history, even if sometimes we have made mistakes in the interpretation of a certain event. And the thing is, who hasn't made a mistake every now and then? XD

At the end of summer, all manufacturers have gone completely crazy and don't stop sending us their new and delicious products that we gladly place with care and all our love on the shelves of our ample warehouse. :)

Marsh Models

For some time now the boss had been planning to put together a 1/43 scale model from an English manufacturer unknown for a vast majority: Marsh Models. Located at the south of England, they focus their production on Can Am and Le Mans racing cars. Basically a lot of McLarens and a lot of Chaparrals, the occasional Porsche and Ford, and a few other four-wheeled delights from a glorious motor age. Many of them are also machines with truly extraordinary designs!! :)

MAN 8x8

In the early years of the Paris Dakar rally, only a handful of brave and crazy people accepted the challenge of running the toughest endurance rally in the world. In the 1984 edition, an impressive MAN machine, sponsored by Rothmans, gave support to the Porsche 911 Carrera 4x4 (953) that would win the Dakar. A few years have passed since that time and the imposing appearance of the all-wheel drive super truck with its eight enormous wheels still leaves us speechless.
